September 7, 2016, EAPO Headquarters: EAPO President Saule Tlevlessova met with the finalists of the VIII International Intellectual Property Olympiad for high-school students representing Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus and Ukraine. The meeting was initiated by the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property.

During the meeting the Olympiad finalists got acquainted with the activities of the Eurasian Patent Office, the history of the establishment of the Eurasian Patent Organization, the main aims, tasks and functions of regional patent offices in the world IP system.

The Olympiad finalists showed lively interest to the activities of the Office asking many questions on matters interesting for them. At the end of the meeting the EAPO specialists organized a short tour for them through the Office.
