On July 02, 2020 as a part of the round table at the online platform of Rospatent the developers of digital platforms of the Office, business representatives and professional community discussed the project “Distributed Register of Rights to Intellectual Property and Means of Individualization in Circulation”.

According to the moderator of the round table, Deputy Head of Rospatent Yuri Zubov, the system will enable anyone to find relevant offers for the acquisition of IP objects of any type, draft and sign agreements; and file applications in Rospatent.

The system will, furthermore, save the client from excess paperwork and the need for various document approval procedures. Moreover, the system will ensure accessibility, transparency and online availability of the public services.

The developers and representatives of the Office assured that the system was configured to protect personal data. Some of the functional modules of the platform will be available in 2020 in test mode, but the IT-product will be fully available in 2021.
