Russia and Mongolia agree to further IP cooperation

On December 16-17, 2021, the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh visited Moscow on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Mongolia. During the visit, a number of bilateral documents were signed, including the Memorandum of Understanding between the Federal Service for Intellectual Property and the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia, signed by Head of Rospatent Grigory Ivliev and Foreign Minister of Mongolia Ms. Batmunkh Battsetseg. The document establishes the groundwork for interaction between the Offices and identifies the main areas of cooperation, including sharing of best practices in the digital agenda of the Offices (e-filing of applications, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, etc.). |
