On February 1, 2023 in Dushanbe (the Republic of Tajikistan) Head of Rospatent Yury Zubov met with Mirzo Ismoilzoda, Director of National Center for Patents and Information of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Heads of Offices outlined the main areas of bilateral cooperation, including digitalization, data exchange and training of specialists, highlighted the importance of coordinated work under the World Intellectual Property Organization, and also discussed preparation for major regional events under the Commonwealth of Independent states (CIS) and the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO).

To strengthen the bilateral cooperation, the parties agreed to draft and sign a Memorandum of Understanding.

Delegation of Rospatent met with employees of the NCPI, visited the State Patent and Technical Library and the examination divisions of the Office.

In view of the upcoming 30th Anniversary of the NCPI, specialists of the Office presented a short history of NCPI and the major milestones of the development of the IP system in Tajikistan.
